Welcome to the Orange Police Department Online Reporting System. If this is an Emergency please call 9-1-1. Using the online report system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free. Please confirm the following to find out if online report filing is right for you:

  • This is not an Emergency.
  • There is no evidence to be collected.
  • The incident occurred within the Orange City limits.
  • There are no known suspects.
  • This did not occur on a state freeway.
  • You have a valid email address.

If your response was "yes" to all of the above criteria, you are ready to file your report online. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before filing a report.

The following report types can be submitted through the Online Reporting System:

  • Custody/Visitation Court Order Violation
  • Harassing Phone Call
  • Information Scam
  • Lost Property
  • Non-Injury Hit & Run Traffic Accident
  • Non-Injury Single Vehicle Property Damage Only Traffic Accident
  • Non-Injury Traffic Accident
  • Supplemental Report
  • Theft
  • Vandalism
  • Vehicle Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

Note: The Reporting System is not available for Injury Traffic Accidents or Hit and Run Traffic Accidents with complete suspect or suspect vehicle information.

Upon completion of this report process you will:

  • See the message: "Your online report has been submitted", showing that your police report is complete.
  • Be issued a temporary police report number. Once your report has been reviewed and approved, you will be issued a permanent police report case number.
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report for your records.

Please Note:

  • Reports submitted not meeting the online approval criteria will not be approved and you will receive an email explaining the reason(s).
  • All cases filed using the online report system will be reviewed.
  • Upon review, if further information or investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
  • If your incident is not listed in the online report choices, please call the City of Orange Police Department (emergency 9-1-1, non-emergency (714) 744-7444) to file a report.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.
